Terms & conditions

These terms govern every booking made with Home Corazon LLC. Home Corazon leases the homes it markets and is the letting party on your booking: your agreement is with us, not with a property owner.

Home Corazon LLC is registered at 32 N Gould St, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. Our operating office, and the address for correspondence about a stay, is Blvd. Kukulcán Km 14, L-14, Zona Hotelera, Cancún, Quintana Roo 77500, Mexico.

Payment

  1. A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is payable at the time of booking. Your reservation is confirmed only once this deposit has been received.
  2. The remaining balance is payable 45 days before your arrival date and will be charged automatically to the payment method held on file.
  3. For bookings made fewer than 45 days before arrival, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  4. All amounts are stated and charged in USD. Your card issuer may apply its own currency conversion or foreign transaction charges.

Cancellation by you

  1. Cancellations made within 24 hours of payment receive a full refund. This applies to every booking, however far in advance it was made.
  2. Cancellations made 45 or more days before arrival: the 50% deposit is retained and the outstanding balance is not charged.
  3. Cancellations made fewer than 45 days before arrival: no refund is due and the full booking amount is retained.
  4. Cancellation must be made in writing to reservations@homecorazon.com and takes effect on the date we receive it.
  5. Late arrival, early departure or non-arrival does not entitle you to a refund of any part of the booking.

Changes

  1. One date change may be requested at no administrative fee where it is made 45 or more days before arrival, subject to availability. Any difference in rate between the original and new dates is payable.
  2. A date change requested fewer than 45 days before arrival is treated as a cancellation under clause 7, followed by a new booking.

Damage

  1. Every booking is secured by a refundable authorisation hold of USD 3,000, placed three days before arrival and released within seven days of departure, less any amount properly deducted under these terms. The hold is an authorisation against your payment method, not a charge.
  2. Where Home Corazon offers a damage waiver of USD 99 and you choose to purchase it, no authorisation hold is taken. In exchange, Home Corazon waives its right to charge you for accidental damage to the property or its contents up to USD 2,500 per stay. The waiver is not available on every booking; where it is available it will be offered to you in writing before payment.
  3. Neither the hold nor the waiver applies to intentional damage, theft, loss of keys or access devices, damage caused by pets, breach of the no-smoking policy, or cleaning required beyond normal use.
  4. You authorise Home Corazon to charge the payment method on file for damage, loss or additional cleaning not covered above, up to USD 10,000, supported by photographic evidence and itemised costs provided to you.

If we cancel

  1. If Home Corazon is unable to provide the property booked, we will offer comparable alternative accommodation or, at your election, a full refund of all amounts paid.
  2. Our liability in respect of any booking is limited to the total amount you have paid for it.

Your stay

  1. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00 unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  2. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests stated on the booking. Additional guests are not permitted without prior written agreement and may result in the booking being terminated without refund.
  3. Events, parties and commercial filming are not permitted without prior written agreement.
  4. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from them will be submitted to the competent courts of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and both parties waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
