Privacy notice
Last updated 13 September 2026
This notice explains what personal information Home Corazon collects when you enquire about or book a stay, why we hold it, who else sees it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
The data controller is Home Corazon LLC, registered at 32 N Gould St, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. Our operating office is Blvd. Kukulcán Km 14, L-14, Zona Hotelera, Cancún, Quintana Roo 77500, Mexico. For anything in this notice, write to reservations@homecorazon.com.
What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, email address, phone number, the dates and property you asked about, and whatever you tell us in the conversation.
- When you book: the above, plus the number and names of guests, your billing details, and your payment card. We never see or store the full card number — it goes directly to our payment processor.
- On arrival: identification documents for guests, where Mexican lodging regulations require us to record them.
- During your stay: correspondence with us, and any requests or incidents relating to the property.
Why we hold it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange your stay — this is the main reason, and most of the information exists for no other purpose.
- To take payment and to charge or refund amounts under our terms and conditions.
- To meet legal obligations, including the lodging register required in Quintana Roo and the accounting and tax records we are required to keep.
- To respond if a payment is disputed. A card issuer asking us to prove a booking was genuine is the situation where correspondence and booking records matter most.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, rent it, or add you to marketing lists you did not ask for. It is shared only where a stay cannot happen otherwise:
- Our property management system, which holds the reservation and the calendar across every channel we list on.
- Our payment processor, which handles the card and holds the transaction record.
- The listing platform your booking came through, where it did — the platform already holds the booking and we exchange only what the reservation needs.
- Our team in Mexico, who prepare the property, meet you, and handle anything that comes up while you are there.
- Authorities, where the law requires it — the lodging register, and any lawful request we are obliged to answer.
Where it is held
Home Corazon LLC is registered in the United States and the homes are operated in Mexico, so your information is handled in both countries and by service providers that may store it elsewhere. Wherever it sits, the same rules in this notice apply to it.
How long we keep it
- Booking and financial records are kept indefinitely. Accounting and tax rules require us to retain them for a number of years, and we do not routinely destroy them afterwards, because a booking record is what allows us to answer a dispute or a query about a past stay.
- Identification documents are kept only for as long as the lodging regulations require, and are then deleted. These are the most sensitive documents we handle and we do not retain them longer than we must.
- Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for two years, so we can pick up a conversation you return to, and deleted after that.
Your choices
Write to reservations@homecorazon.com and you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete information we no longer need, or stop using it for a particular purpose. We will respond within 30 days.
Where we are required to keep a record — a financial record, or an entry in the lodging register — we will tell you that plainly rather than delete something we are obliged to hold.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing here follows you to another site.
Our booking pages are operated by our property management system on a separate address and do set cookies, which are needed to keep your booking together as you move through it. That system's own privacy and cookie notice applies there.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Bookings already made are governed by the version in force when they were made.
This notice covers personal information. Our terms and conditions govern the booking itself, and our cancellation policy covers refunds and changes.
